People love new. Whether that be with material goods or software, people always want the latest and greatest. HTC got a lot of crap for shipping the One with Android 4.1 instead of Android 4.2, but I doubt 99% of One owners even care. Samsung did manage to put Android 4.2.2 on the GS4, so good for them, but what about Sony?

Sony is pretty bad when it comes to timing. They announced their flagship devices, the Z and ZL, during the first week of January. By the time MWC started in late February, no one remembered their phone. And then after both HTC and Samsung held their respective events, forget it.

Now that being said, some of you are Xperia Z owners, so to those four or five people out there, you should check your device for a software update. Android 4.2.2 is now available, and with it you get support for 64 GB microSD cards, some new widgets, and hopefully a smoother UI/UX experience.

If any of you have a Z, and have this new update, do leave a comment below.
