Earlier this week, OnePlus unveiled their 2015 flagship killer — the OnePlus 2. The handset is scheduled to go up for sale from August 11 through the company’s dreaded invite system.

Now, while you wait for the handset to go up for sale and an invite to land in your inbox to allow you to actually purchase the handset, the folks over at IT168 in China have gone ahead and posted a full teardown of the OnePlus 2. The teardown provides detailed information about the various components used inside the OnePlus 2, though since it is in Chinese, you will have to use Google Translate to understand everything.

The folks at IT168 did not face any difficulties in accessing the internals of the OnePlus 2 and found it to be pretty straightforward. This is in stark contrast to flagships from Samsung and HTC this year, which are extremely tough to open. This should also make conducting in-house repairs and parts replacement on the phone significantly easier.

Interestingly, the teardown reveals that OnePlus has gone with an OmniVision sensor for the rear and front cameras of the handset. Sony is usually the preferred camera sensor company for most OEMs, but it is likely that OnePlus went with OmniVision to save some money on hardware components. Whether the use of this sensor will affect the camera quality of the OnePlus 2 or not is something which only time will tell.

Will you be buying a OnePlus 2 when it goes up for sale on August 11?
