Google has started rolling out the Android 5.1.1 OTA updates for the Nexus 5, Nexus 4 and the Nexus 9 (LTE).

Along with the OTA update, Google has also uploaded the Android 5.1.1 factory images for the above mentioned devices along with the Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi and 3G variants). The OTA update for the Nexus 7 is yet to go live, but with the factory image available, it should not be far away now.

The Android 5.1.1 update does not bring much to the table except for some bug-fixes including a few of them for a memory leak, which should lead to a slightly improvement in performance of these devices.

The Nexus 6 is the only device to not receive the OTA update as well as the Android 5.1.1 factory image, but its OTA update rollout should be just around the corner.

You can download the OTA updates from below, or simply head over to Google’s Developer website to grab the factory images.
