It hasn’t been all that long now since Sony officially announced the Xperia Z4 in Japan, but a new handset may grab the attention of potential buyers. If it’s real, that is.
The Xperia P2 is a new smartphone that, as of now, Sony hasn’t confirmed exists. Of course, leaks happen all the time, so the Xperia P2 rising to the surface on the internet isn’t that big of a surprise. According to the report from GSMArena, the newest smartphone from Sony could feature a 5.2-inch TRILUMINOS display with a resolution of 1920×1080, and rock some pretty thin bezels.
The report also indicates it will boast a battery measured in at 4240mAH, and it’s expected to be running Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box. It will also feature 32GB of built-in storage, 3GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. As for the cameras, it will reportedly boast a 12MP camera on the back with optical image stabilization, and a 5.1-megapixel front-facing camera on the other side.
The Xperia P2 certainly doesn’t look like a slouch, so if it does turn out to be a real handset, some potential buyers might have something to look forward to if the Xperia Z4 isn’t their cup of tea.
