Today is 1st April a.k.a April Fools’ Day — the day when various tech companies are going to tease and announce outrageous products and services, which will be capable of doing some crazy stuffs, but in the end, all of them are going to be a joke.

Jumping on the April Fools’ Day bandwagon this year is CyanogenMod, whose latest CM12 nightlies are now powered by Microsoft. If you install the latest CM12 nightly on your Android device, this is what you will be greeted with while your Android device boots up:
The joke takes a dig at all the rumors about Microsoft showing interest in Cyanogen Inc. Rumors first suggested that Microsoft was interested in acquiring Cyanogen Inc., but later decided to invest money in it. However, neither of the rumors actually turned out to be true.
