Sony today announced that it has started the worldwide rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and the Z3 Tablet Compact from today.

From next week, the company will also start the global rollout of the Lollipop update for the Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet. It has also confirmed that it will be bringing Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3, but did not provide any specific timeframe for the release.
