OnePlus One owners in India, here is some good news for you. After all the drama and legal battle involving OnePlus, Cyanogen Inc. and Micromax, the One units sold in India will be receiving official Cyanogen 12 OS update over OTA.
Last year, due to the legal battle between the three companies, Cyanogen Inc. announced that it will not be providing software support for the One units sold in India. However, it looks like the company has had a change of heart or it managed to find a way to convince Micromax as it will now be rolling out the Cyanogen OS 12 update to One owners in India.
The news comes directly from Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder, who assured an Indian OnePlus One user on Twitter that they will be receiving the Cyanogen OS 12 update through OTA.
.@hescoresgalores no it's not. CM12S will be delivered via OTA.

OnePlus and Cyanogen Inc. will be rolling out the Cyanogen OS 12 update for the One on or before March 30. The final build of OnePlus own in-house OS, OxygenOS, will also be released for One owners on or before March 27.
