Cyanogen Inc. today posted a preview video of their new boot animation that they will be using in their upcoming Cyanogen OS 12.

The sci-fi theme of boot animation is consistent with the new look at the company unveiled at the Mobile World Congress last month.

This new boot animation is pretty simple and straightforward compared to what the company was previously using on its OS.

The new boot animation will be a part of the Cyanogen OS 12 update for the OnePlus One and the Yu Yureka. The former’s update is scheduled to be rolled out in late-March while the latter’s update is already under soak testing by a limited set of users.
