It’s only been a few days since word first broke regarding the rumored Galaxy S6 Active, and now another report has surfaced shedding a bit more light on the unofficial device.
According to SamMobile, the upcoming Galaxy S6 Active will boast a battery that’s bigger than the one found within the current Galaxy S6. According to the report, that battery will actually boast a 3500mAh battery, while the Galaxy S6 has a 2500mAh battery. As far as the other specs go, though, it looks quite a bit similar to Samsung’s official handsets:
A 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440, Exynos 7420 processor under the hood with 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera on the back and a 5MP front-facing shooter, and 32GB of built-in storage. The Galaxy S6 Active will reportedly also feature a slightly thicker frame, too.
The new report also echoes the initial leak of the handset a few days ago, with that “A” in the model number suggesting the handset will land on AT&T before any other carrier. The Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S5 Active landed on AT&T, too, so this doesn’t come much as a surprise in the slightest.
