With less than a week to go for Mobile World Congress, LG has gone ahead and announced four new mid-range Android smartphones: the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy.

With its new budget mid-range handsets, LG is aiming to bring the design and features that it has usually reserved for higher-end models to the masses. All the four handsets will be available with 3G or LTE depending on your region, with the latter models featuring a metallic back cover to distinguish them from the former. Out of the box, all the handsets run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The handsets also come with features like Gesture Shot and Glance View, which the company has usually reserved for its premium devices until now. Glance View, which first made its debut on the recently released G Flex 2, will allow users to quickly look at their important notifications by simply swiping down on the screen, even when the display is off.

“LG’s new mid-range collection continues our legacy of offering amazing smartphones at reasonable prices,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “For millions of consumers around the world, the deciding factor on which smartphone to buy isn’t how fast or how big it is but how balanced it is. With our new mid-range smartphones, more and more customers will be looking to LG for their next handsets.”
