Starting from today, when you do a Google Search on mobile, Google will bundle the relevant and freshest news from one website into a “carousel” so that you can easily scan through it.
The carousel will not only display articles from a website that is relevant to your search, but also include images, videos and more. Google is making this feature available on a per site basis, so give the company sometime if articles from your favorite website does not show up in a carousel.
When you search for a topic, just scroll down to see a “carousel” of recent articles, videos or more on that subject. Tap any link to read or watch exactly what you’re interested in. For example, if you search for NPR, you’ll see links to all their latest articles and videos. Search for the Knicks to browse content from their site as well as videos and news from ESPN or Bleacher Report.
Additionally, Google will also be delivering all Oscar related content, including acceptance speeches to behind-the-scenes, in a carousel format so that users can easily search through the content and read whatever they like.
