LG G Flex 2

Sprint today announced that it will start carrying LG’s latest handset — the G Flex 2 — on its network from March 13 with pre-orders beginning as soon as tomorrow (i.e. Feb 20).

LG announced the G Flex 2 at CES last month. The handset is already available in the company’s home market — South Korea — and is the first Android handset to be available commercially with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 chipset.

Other specs of the handset include a curved 5.5-inch 1080p HD P-OLED display, a self-healing back, 13MP rear camera with OIS+ and LaserAF, and a 3000mAh sealed battery with Quick Charge support. The handset will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Sprint will be selling the G Flex 2 in Platinum Silver and Volcano Red with the latter being exclusive to it in the United States. Consumers with decent credit scores will be able to buy the handset with $0 down payment and 24 monthly payments of $21. You can also purchase the device outright for $504, excluding taxes and other fees.
