When Sprint introduced a new Lease program, it started the show with Apple’s iPhone. Now, though, the Lease program has become a sound bet for Android devices.
And that trend has continued with a recent announcement by Sprint that confirmed the addition of the LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the Now Network’s Lease program. With these new additions, Sprint subscribers that are looking for a new handset with as little money upfront as possible can get either handset for $0 down. After that, it’s $15 per month for 24 months for the G3, and $25 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy Note 4.
Once the lease agreement is up, so after the 24 month stretch, the subscriber has a few different options. The leased device can be turned in to Sprint and then the subscriber can immediately begin leasing another handset if they so choose. The device can also be paid off and owned permanently, or the subscriber can return the device in “good working condition” and cancel their lease and service. Or, the subscriber can lease the device month-to-month.
With the new additions, Sprint’s Lease program becomes a bit better for anyone looking to get their hands on a new device. Do you plan on taking advantage of the option?
