Sony’s German affiliate has just launched [translated] a trio of new devices that are meant to stand out in a crowd, thanks to unique pieces of art printed on the back of each device.
The devices span the Z3 lineup, including the Xperia Z3, the Xperia Z3 Compact and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Each one features a piece of artwork specifically designed to feature a major city of the world. The Xperia Z3 features an illustration of Berlin on the back, courtesy of artist Vera Tapani Sammalisto. The Xperia Z3 Compact boasts artwork depicting Tokyo, from Shinpei Hasegawa. Finally, the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact features Warsaw by January Feliks Kallwejt.
The Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact will come in four different colors, while the Z3 Tablet Compact will come in two. There are only 33 models of each, and Sony is only selling them in Germany.
The devices are certainly unique, and quite limited. Anyone who manages to get their hands on one will certainly stand out in the crowd.
