Motorola staggered the launch of the original Moto G and the Moto G with LTE-connectivity, with the former launching at the tail-end of 2013, and the latter making waves in mid-2014.

Apparently that strategy worked for Motorola, because according to a device appearance on Motorola’s Brazilian website, the company could be doing the same thing all over again. As noticed originally by Android Police, the new variant of the Moto G (2nd Gen.) has a special place on the website with a few more details in the specifications section, including support for LTE band 7.

Additionally, under the battery section, there’s mention of the LTE model boasting a 2390mAh battery, which, for those keeping track, is slightly bigger than the 2070mAh battery found in the original second-generation Moto G. So, it would appear that Motorola included a slightly larger battery to better handle the faster data speeds.

As far as a release date goes, though, there’s no mention of that, unfortunately. However, if Motorola does have plans to repeat the previous generation’s launch plans, we could be hearing about the LTE-equipped handset soon.
