Individual pieces of the Android ecosystem have been receiving updates to reflect the Material Design aesthetic over the last couple of months, and now another app has received the update.

Google Camera, the stand-alone application that’s available for free within the Google Play Store, has received the Material Design update. But while the look and feel of the app has changed, but the app has also been updated to support Android 5.0 Lollipop. The app’s icon has also been given an overhaul for good measure.

Within the release notes of the update, Google also confirms that Camera has been given some performance tweaks behind the scenes, while also squashing some bugs.
