Samsung has quietly released the Galaxy S5 Plus in Netherlands featuring a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. The company had earlier launched the handset in Singapore under the Galaxy S5 4G+ moniker.
Aside from the difference in processor, the Galaxy S5 Plus is virtually the same as its international sibling and features a 5.1-inch Super-AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, a 16MP ISO-CELL rear camera, 2GB RAM, a 2800mAh removable battery, IP67 rating and a microSD card slot.
The presence of the Snapdragon 805 does allow the Galaxy S5 Plus to support faster LTE speeds of up to 300Mbps though. The company will be offering the handset in four colors: Black, White, Silver and Blue at a yet to be announced price.
Previously, Samsung had launched the Galaxy S5 LTE-A in its home market with a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and a 5.1-inch Quad HD display.
