Beside releasing the final Android 5.0 SDK and updated Developer preview images, Google has also put up the Nexus Player and Nexus 9 for pre-order on Google Play.
The Nexus 9 already went up for pre-order last night on Amazon US, France and Germany, but starting from today, you can pre-order it from Google Play, HTC and Best Buy as well. The prices remain the same as listed on Amazon: $399 for 16GB, $479 for 32GB and $599 for the LTE variant. Sadly though, you will only get your hands on the tablet on 3rd November — which is the very same day the device is scheduled to hit the retail stores.
HTC, however, states that the scheduled shipping date for the tablet in the United States is October 31st, so you might be able to get your hands on the tablet a day early at the very best, if you are lucky. But then, make sure to order the tablet directly from HTC.
The Nexus Player has also gone up for pre-order on the U.S Play Store for $99 if you are interested in getting your hands on the first Android TV device from Google. While its companion Gamepad is also listed on the Play Store, the device is not yet available for pre-order or purchase.
