HTC is one of many companies that has turned to splitting some of their apps away from the main software on their devices, making it possible for updates to get pushed out to those apps faster than ever before. The Gallery app is one of those, and it’s recently been updated to offer even better features for a pair of devices.
The update itself is small in size, but for anyone who uses the Gallery app from HTC on their One (M8) or Butterfly 2, the new additions to the editing tools may be worthwhile. The new Duo Effects can be located within the Foregrounder and Seasons options, and HTC has even thrown in some additional typography within the Seasons tools, too. Within Foregrounder, you’ll find new options like Pastel, Ink, Draft, Retro, Watercolor, and Color Beads. As for Seasons, four new effects: Bubbles, Light Points, Confetti, and Roses.
The update also includes a few other unnamed tweaks and improvements to the app.
