AT&T upgraded their own Moto X variant earlier in August, and now it looks like it is Sprint’s turn to get into the fun. The company has officially begun rolling out their Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for Motorola’s hero device of 2013, and with it, plenty of new additions are being tossed in.
The update, which brings the version number up to 212.44.28.en.US, will bring the latest version of Android to the device, which is generally good enough of an update for most people. But for those who need new features, too, Motorola has Moto X owners covered.

Sprint’s update page was last updated on August 20, but it looks like the update itself just started officially rolling out to Moto X owners. As usual with an over the air update, it will be rolling out over the coming days, so if you don’t get it today, you should get it soon.
