As revealed earlier this week, HTC has gone ahead and updated its Zoe app on the Play Store to make it compatible most Android devices running KitKat.
The app is different from what we have seen on HTC devices, and has a more ‘social network’ touch to it with Feeds, Followers and Following tabs.
The Zoe app will allow you to select images and videos from a particular trip and then automatically combines them into a beautiful 30-second highlight reel, which can be customized with themes and music. It will also allow you to share yours Zoes on all the popular social networks like Facebook, Google+ or Twitter, or just keep them private for yourself. (www.ebsta.com)
The app, however, does not allow users to take a short 3-second burst videos as possible on certain HTC devices, which helps in making Zoe videos feel more alive.
SInce HTC is prepping Zoe to be a social network, it also allows users to share Zoes with their friends or family, who can also remix it with their own content.
Right now, the app is only compatible with a selected bunch of devices from Samsung, LG and HTC including the Galaxy S5 and Nexus 5. This is mainly because it is still in beta, and HTC has promised that it would be increasing the compatibility of the app with more devices down the line. Until then, you can also sideload the app by downloading its APK from here.
