Chris Lacy, the developer behind popular apps like Action Launcher, has just announced a new app for his collection, which aims to make clicking a link on your Android device a lot more helpful.
TapPath, the name of the new app from Lacy, is designed to give us more options for when we click the links we find on our Android devices. While we can already choose a default web browser to open when we click a link, with TapPath we get even more options by double- or triple-tapping a link.
It works like this: Tap once, and you’ll be taken into the app you’ve got selected as your standard web browser (like Chrome). Tap twice on the link, and you’ll be given an option to open in another app, like a social networking site to share it with others. If you tap the link three times, you’ll get another app to choose from, which could immediately add that link to a read-it-later app, like Pocket.
Lacy has also included a nice way for users to adjust the tap delay, so you can adjust to your liking. The app is available now in the Google Play Store, and you can find it in the link below. It’ll cost you 99 cents.
