On August, HTC confirmed that they would be expanding the Desire family of devices in the United States, with the Desire 610 already available for AT&T, and the Desire 816 joining the State-side ranks soon. Now, according to a new leak, another Desire family member is headed to Sprint.
According to the Twitter account @upleaks, the above device is the “HTC A11,” which is apparently a codename for a device that will reportedly brandish the Desire family name at some point in the future. It will feature a 4.7-inch display, with a resolution of 854×480. Under the hood you’ll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, with a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a VGA front-facing shooter on the other side. It will launch with Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, and feature HTC’s Sense 6 user interface.
If you’ll recall, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor is a 64-bit chipset, which was announced in December of 2013. So, while the rest of the specs may scream mid-range, the processor will at least stand out.
There is no word on how much this Desire-based device will cost, or when Sprint is gearing up to launch it.
