Just yesterday, the WhatsApp team uploaded a beta build of their Android app with Android Wear integration. Following on their footsteps, the Facebook team has started rolling out an update for Facebook Messenger for Android that also brings with it Android Wear integration.

Post the update, Facebook Messenger users would be able to directly reply to their messages from their wrist using voice replies. Other notable inclusions include the ability to like a reply or mute notifications right from your Android Wear watch.

The ability to like a message or mute a notification feature would also be available to normal Android users right from the notification bar when they expand on the notification.

The official changelog from Facebook on the Play Store does not mention any other changes except for “improvements to make the app faster and more reliable”, which is always a welcome addition.
