Samsung has gone ahead and publicly announced its Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event, just a day after it sent out press invites to a selected batch of media personals.

The image accompanied with the announcement clearly hints at the launch of the Note 4 with its tagline of “Note the Date!”

Samsung will be holding the event simultaneously in three regions of the world — Berlin, Beijing and New York on September 3, 2014 from 9AM EST. The Berlin event would be the global one with most of the people from the tech industry already being present there for IFA.

The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD resolution display, an Exynos 5433 processor, 3GB of RAM and a 16MP camera with OIS. It is also possible that we may see Samsung announce a new Android Wear running smartwatch or its virtual reality headset — the Gear VR.
