Thanks to its integration with Gmail, Google Now cam sometime be borderline creepy. Today, Google is rolling out another feature for Now that takes advantage of this integration to help make the lives of travelers a bit easier.
If your hotel confirmation email is in your Gmail inbox associated with your Google Now account, you can do a few simple voice searches while traveling like “show me restaurants near my hotel” or “navigate to hotel” without ever mentioning the address of your hotel. Definitely a very handy feature to have and creepy as well.
Since this is a server side feature, it might not work for everyone right away and users might need to wait for up to two weeks before they can enjoy it. Do keep in mind that your Gmail inbox must contain an email from the hotel properly mentioning its address and your booking dates for Google to actually recommend restaurants near your hotel.
