It looks like HTC might have unintentionally given the world a look at its smartwatch in a video that it uploaded on YouTube earlier this month boasting about its design.

The video was initially uploaded on July 8th but the smartwatch’s appearance was only unearthed today.

The unannounced smartwatch makes an appearance around the 35-second mark sitting on its (wireless?) charging cradle.

This small peek-a-boo of the watch does reveal that it would be coming with a square screen like the LG G Watch and the Gear Live. This means that Motorola’s upcoming Moto 360 is still the only Android Wear watch to feature a circular screen.

The design of the smartwatch also looks similar to a render that was posted by @evleaks a few days ago.

HTC is widely expected to team up with Google to announce a new Nexus tablet later this year. The company should release its first Android Wear running smartwatch sometime around that time itself.
