The Moto X has been around for quite some time now, with the smartphone even making its way out of the U.S. not so long ago. And it seems like the company is looking to launch a new storage variant of the device with a 64GB model leaking out.
The screenshot you see above was taken from Moto Maker, so it’s coming from a legitimate source. The pricing is mentioned as $449.99, which is understandable given the $349.99 and $399.99 pricing of the 16 and 32GB models of the Moto X right now.
It is yet to be seen if this variant will remain limited to the U.S. or will be made available elsewhere too. Given that the Moto X+1 is not too far away from launch, we think Motorola should not waste any time in launching this particular variant in order to close out inventory at the earliest.
Moto Maker only has the 16 and 32GB variants at the moment, but we expect that to change in the coming days. The added storage option is a welcome addition for the Moto X as the device doesn’t come with a microSD card slot.
