We have already seen the Galaxy S6 being torn down in images, but now, the folks over at ETrade Supply has gone ahead and posted a 17-minute disassembly video for Samsung’s latest flagship.
The video shows that removing the Galaxy S6 back panel requires a heat gun to weaken the glue, and then use a prick to remove the glass back panel. Removing the AMOLED display from the front also requires a heat gun, but is more difficult to remove than the back panel.
The painful video does make one thing pretty clear: Repairing the Galaxy S6 (or Galaxy S6 edge) in-house is not going to be as easy as its predecessors.
