The Google Pixel was announced earlier this month, and for any Verizon Wireless subscriber that planned on walking into a retail store on October 28 to pick up a specific model, that option may no longer be available.
Thanks to a recent tweet from Jeffrey Nelson, a Verizon Wireless communications team member, it’s been confirmed that the Big Red carrier will not have any 128GB Pixel XL models in stock when doors open up on October 28. Nelson says that all of the carrier’s stock has been sold through, and, on top of that, online orders for the device have no slipped back to November 18.
4/6 NEWS! Initial inventory of Pixel XL 128GB is SOLD OUT… NOT in stores Thurs. All other models in stock. Get to Verizon early!

So, if the 5.5-inch Pixel XL with 128GB of storage was your go-to option upon walking into a Verizon store tomorrow, that won’t be happening. Not on launch day, anyway.
The other options, though, will be available. Customers will be able to choose the 32GB Pixel XL if they so desire, or they can go with the 32GB or 128GB Pixel instead.
