ile bringing all three wireless stards (A4A, into one chip is an admirable solution in its own right, Broadcom’s latest has a more going for it. The BCM59350 supports charging up to 7.5 allowing for a faster charge than some B ports or wall chargers. Not only that, but the chip’s Boost Mode allows for charging with 50 percent less voltage.

Broadcom also says that the chip can be built into a smartphone’s motherboard directly or into a battery cover. ile anyone would prefer the former, some manufacturers love to require the customer to spend some extra greenbacks to give their phone wireless charging powers.
